Soaps Ratings Roundup: March 12

Last night's episode of EastEnders attracted 8.63m (39.1%) for its third and final episode of the week.

The soap's 7.30pm outing, which saw Mitchell sisters Ronnie and Roxy have a heart-to-heart in a police cell after being arrested for suspected prostitution, added a further 744k (4.2%) with its 10pm repeat on BBC Three.

Daz and Aaron's fisticuffs over Victoria, meanwhile, were seen by 6.62m (32.4%) at 7pm.

Doctors' instalment entitled 'Flimflam Thank You Man' took 1.73m (23.3%) at 1.45pm.

Five's 5.30pm edition of Neighbours pipped Hollyoaks in the ratings last night, with 1.5m (9.9%) tuning in to see Harold's surprising decision to refuse any further cancer treatment. Fiver's repeat at 7pm added 220k (1.2%).

Channel 4's daily dose of Hollyoaks, in which Sasha and Josh celebrated their birthdays with a joint party at The Loft, logged 1.49m (7.6%) at 6.30pm, before E4's first look put in 551k (3%) at 7pm. The timeshift repeat added 177k (0.8%).

Melody's decision to leave Summer Bay during last night's Home and Away, meanwhile, took 1.01m (5.6%) at 6pm. Fiver's first look transmission 30 minutes later brought in 602k (3.4%).
