EastEnders' final instalment of wedding week was the most watched programme of Friday, pulling 9.54m (43.7%) at 8pm.

The repeat of the episode, which featured the fallout of Danielle's shock death on Peggy and Archie's wedding day, was later seen by an additional 903k (6.1%) at 10.30pm on BBC Three.

BBC Three's one-hour spin-off show EastEnders Revealed: The Secret Mitchell delivered 759k (3.9%) and 558k (5.6%) for its two outings at 8.30pm and 11pm.

Coronation Street, meanwhile, held strong with its two Friday episodes, during which Dev played away from home and Kirk ended his relationship with Julie. The outings attracted 8.57m (41.9%) and 8.49m (37.4%) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm respectively.

Emmerdale's screening, which saw Marlon have an awkward afternoon tea with Maisie and her mother Natasha, logged 6.32m (34.5%) at 7pm.

BBC One's edition of Doctors, entitled 'The Way I Am', took 1.51m (22.7%) at 1.45pm.

Last night's instalment of Hollyoaks, during which Amy gave birth to her second child Lucas, attracted 1.46m (8.6%) at 6.30pm, before the first look outing interested 583k (3.6%) at 7pm on E4.

Five's transmission of Neighbours at 5.30pm had 1.46m (12.1%), while its 7pm repeat on Fiver added 183k (1.1%).

Home and Away's final outing of the week, which saw Irene come clean about her past, was seen by 1.04m (6.8%) at 6pm, before Fiver's first look averaged 456k (3%) at 6.30pm.
