Another 'Emmerdale' actress quits
Emmerdale's Amy Nuttall, who plays Chloe Atkinson, told shocked bosses that she wants a singing and acting career. Her current filming schedule doesn't cater for both, so she has decided to quit.

Nuttall told The Sun: "The decision to leave is something I have been thinking about for a long time. I will have been playing Chloe for four years this Christmas and although Emmerdale has been a fantastic experience, I feel that it's time for something new."

Her decision to quit came after performing in front of 35,000 football fans and Manchester United's home ground, Old Trafford, during the Vodaphone Cup.

Nuttall's departure is the second blow to cast numbers within two weeks, as Emma Atkins (Charity Dingle) also decided to quit, claiming it was time to move on.

Nuttall's departure is scheduled for early next year.
