'EastEnders' storylines stolen
EastEnders scripts for the next few months have been stolen from a soap exec's home, The Sun reports today.

The scripts included storylines for the return of Peggy Mitchell (Barbara Windsor), the exit of Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and the crucial episodes in the run up to Christmas... as well as the controversial Christmas Day episode.

Show bosses are worried that they are going to have to axe months of plots and re-write them if they are leaked.

An insider told the paper: "Producers are worried about this. The scripts were stolen in a burglary on Monday night. This could destroy all their plans for the coming months."

Plots relating to Kat Slater have already been re-written after Wallace was rushed to hospital earlier this week.

The insider added: "The theft is now a matter for the police."
