Its midweek outing, which saw Julie attempting to discover more about her family, was seen by 7.99m (32.6%) at 7.30pm. ITV2's repeat transmission at midnight added 164k (3.7%).
Meanwhile, Emmerdale's instalment, during which Pollard and David went head-to-head in their election debate, drew 6.15m (32.6%) at 7pm.
Channel 4's traditional Hollyoaks' offering at 6.30pm, which featured Nancy and Russ finding themselves in a passionate embrace, brought in 1.49m (8.3%), while Channel 4+1's timeshift repeat added 123k (0.7%).

BBC One's episode of Doctors, entitled 'Spleen', interested 1.59m (23.9%) at 1.45pm.
Five's edition of Neighbours, meanwhile, had 1.53m (11.7%) at 5.30pm, then Fiver's 7pm repeat added a further 278k (1.6%).
Home and Away's transmission at 6pm slipped below the million mark again, taking 971k (5.9%). However, Fiver's first look was the most watched multichannel programme of the day, attracting 580k (3.6%)
