Soaps Ratings Roundup: May 12
Emmerdale's hour-long instalment dented EastEnders' ratings last night, dragging them to their lowest point since last September.

Last night's edition of the Walford soap, during which Bradley became even more suspicious of Syd, averaged 5.81m (29.4%).

Meanwhile, Emmerdale's one-hour showing from 7pm - which saw Cain outed as a police informant - had an overall audience of 5.5m (29.4). However, during the head-to-head period, the Yorkshire soap's audience dipped to 5m (25.3%).

Despite EastEnders' lacklustre terrestrial performance, its 10pm repeat on BBC Three was the most watched multichannel programme of the day, adding a further 1.11m (6.4%).

Hollyoaks' screening at 6.30pm, in which Suzanne questioned Hannah over a stash of food she found in her bedroom, attracted 1.67m (9.9%). E4's first look had 480k (3%) at 7pm.

Doctors' second outing of the week, titled 'I Kissed A Girl' drew 1.54 (24.3%) at 1.45pm.

Neighbours' offering at 5.30pm, which saw Zeke betray his sister Rachel, put in 1.37m (11%). Fiver's multichannel repeat at 7pm added a further 220k (1.4%)

Five's transmission of Home and Away at 6pm was watched by 1.07m (6.8%), before Fiver's first look took 508k (3.4%).
