Parky to appear on Corrie?

Michael Parkinson could appear in Coronation Street, after admitting that it is his "greatest ambition" to star in an episode.

During an interview with Philip Schofield and Lorraine Kelly on This Morning, he revealed, "My great ambition is to be in Coronation Street. I love Coronation Street, I’ve kind of grown up with it.

"Sunita is the one for me and I don’t think that Dev treats her right at all.

"He’s got no clue at all, she needs the attention of an older, more experienced man and I’m putting myself forward for that.

"What I want to do is contrive a situation where I’m driving past Sunita’s door, maybe on the way to a gig somewhere, and my car breaks down and I knock on the door and she answers it and I say can I borrow a spanner from you? Or something sexy like that!"

Flattered producers of the show are now apparently planning a possible cameo role for Parky.
