Soaps Ratings Roundup: June 17

Coronation Street's midweek episode led the soap ratings yesterday evening, overnight figures show.

The Manchester serial's instalment, during which Rosie celebrated her windfall, was watched by 8.35m (41.9%) at 7.30pm. ITV2's 11.45pm repeat added a further 156k (2.7%).

Meanwhile, Emmerdale's screening at 7pm, which saw Cain begin to blackmail Mark, averaged 6.39m (34%).

Channel 4's edition of Hollyoaks at 6.30pm took 1.59m (8.8%), before E4's first look interested 563k (3.4%) 30 minutes later.

Five's episode of Neighbours at 5.30pm, which saw Toadie confront his demons to help Zeke, managed 1.53m (10.9%), while Fiver's repeat added 238k (1.4%) at 7pm.

Home and Away's 6pm transmission put in 1.03m (6%), while Fiver's first look had 615k (3.8%).
