Soaps Ratings Roundup: June 29

Coronation Street's first two episodes of the week took the lead in the soap ratings yesterday, the latest figures show.

The two instalments, which saw Kevin and Molly share a kiss and Tony find out about Rosie's investment, were seen by 7.15m (34.8%) and 6.97m (30.1%) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm respectively.

ITV2's repeats in the hour from 11.30pm added a further 173k (2.2%) and 217k (4%).

BBC One's extended coverage of the Murray match at Wimbledon shunted last night's screening of EastEnders to 8pm on BBC Two, where it was seen by 5.51m (25.2%). BBC Three's 10pm repeat added 754k (3.5%).

Meanwhile, Emmerdale's instalment at 7pm managed 5.08m (27.4%)

Five's edition of Neighbours, during which Cass unwittingly put lives in danger by hiding Elle's Cat, was watched by 1.22m (9.7%) at 5.30pm. Fiver's 7pm repeat took 143k (0.9%).

The start of the teens' camping trip in Hollyoaks drew 1.2m (7%) at 6.30pm, while E4's first look averaged 451k (2.7%).

Five's transmission of Home and Away drew 913k (5.9%) at 6pm, before Fiver's first look interested 462k (3%) 30 minutes later.
