Coronation Street was the most-watched soap yesterday evening, according to the latest figures.

The ITV soap's midweek edition, during which Kevin took Molly for a ride in a flash car, was seen by 8.63m (43.5%). ITV2's repeat at 11.45pm added a further 166k (2.7%).

Meanwhile, Emmerdale's outing at 7pm had 6.11m (33.9%).

Greg's shock return to Ramsay Street in Neighbours drew 1.47m (11.1%), while Fiver's repeat at 7pm took 254k (1.6%).

BBC One daytime medical serial Doctors managed 1.45m (20.8%) at 1.45pm for its episode titled 'An Englishman's Home'.

Channel 4's screening of Hollyoaks at 6.30pm averaged 1.45m (8.5%), before E4's first look interested 502k (3.1%). Its timeshift repeat on E4+1 added 144k (0.8%).

Home and Away's transmission at 6pm on Five, which saw Trey attempting to apologise to Nicole, drew 1.16m (7.3%). Fiver's first look logged 602k (3.9%).
