The Emmy-winning series, currently in its 43rd year, will offer American viewers the opportunity to watch entire episodes of the soap for sixteen days following their original broadcast.
"NBC.com is pleased to add Days of Our Lives to the great lineup of shows available for streaming," said Vivi Zigler, president of NBC Universal Digital Entertainment. "Days has such great fans - now they can watch every episode again online."
Show executive producer Ken Corday added: "Days of Our Lives has had such a long, rich history with NBC and our fans. It's wonderful that this new platform will both offer our current fans a whole new way to watch episodes they may have missed and attract new, young viewers to the show."
