Steve and Becky's wedding averages 8.2m
Steve and Becky's second wedding in Coronation Street was seen by an average of 8.2m on Friday, early figures suggest.

The Weatherfield soap's final two instalments of the week, during which Becky finally became Mrs McDonald before being arrested by the drug squad, were watched by 8.16m (43.4%) and 8.28m (39.6%) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

ITV2's repeats from 12.10am added 191k (3.4%) and 182k (4.3%) respectively.

BBC One's edition of EastEnders, which saw Archie buy the Car Lot off Jack, logged 7.12m (36%) at 8pm. BBC Three's 10pm repeat added a further 550k (3.1%).

Emmerdale's outing at 7pm interested 6.17m (35.8%)

Doctors' episode, titled 'Gone To The Dogs', put in 1.45m (20%) at its usual timeslot of 1.45pm.

Libby and Dan's decision to accept Susan's surrogacy offer during Friday's Neighbours was watched by 1.36m (11.3%) at 5.30pm. Fiver's 7pm repeat added 126k (0.8%).

Channel 4's screening of Hollyoaks, which featured Abi kissing Ste, managed 1.19m (7.5%) at 6.30pm, while E4's first look averaged 419k (2.7%) 30 minutes later.
