Ghadie offered new Corrie contract

Coronation Street's Samia Ghadie (Maria Sutherland) has been offered a new £90,000 contract to stay on the show for another year.

Ghadie has also been promised that her character will be involved in bigger storylines next year.

An insider told The Sun, "Samia’s character Maria hasn’t had huge storylines recently, but this is to change."
