Coronation Street led the field in the soap ratings yesterday evening, overnight figures show.

The Manchester soap's double bill, during which Kevin arranged another trip with Molly and Fiz spoke out at Sally's anti-Stape rally, pulled in 9.12m (41.6%) and 9.11m (37.8%)

BBC One's edition of EastEnders, which saw Syed suggest to his mother that Masood is the bad boy, drew 8.66m (36.5%) at 7.30pm. BBC Three's 10pm repeat added a further 617k (3.6%).

Emmerdale's offering put in 6.88m (34.4%) at 7pm.

Doctors' screening at 1.45pm, titled 'Reflected In Windows: Part I', had 1.51m (21.6%).

Five's instalment of Neighbours managed 1.5m (10.6%) at 5.30pm on Five, before Fiver's 7pm repeat had 212k (1.1%).

Channel 4's showing of Hollyoaks, in which Newt met a new friend called Rae, interested 1.46m (7.7%) at 6.30pm, while Channel 4+1's timeshift repeat took 123k (0.6%).

E4's first look averaged 455k (2.5%), before E4+1's repeat an hour later added 118k (0.5%).

Ruby's discovery of her biological father during last night's Home and Away was seen by 1.12m (6.4%) at 6pm, while Fiver's first look had 593k (3.3%) 30 minutes later.
