Soaps Ratings Roundup: October 13

EastEnders was the most-watched soap last night, overnight viewing figures show.

The London-based serial's second episode of the week, in which Liz begged Pat to keep quiet over Owen's return, pulled in 8.54m (39.9%) for BBC One at 7.30pm. BBC Three's 10pm repeat added 741k (4.3%).

ITV1's 7pm Emmerdale instalment, which saw Charity and Debbie con the Wyldes out of some cash, drew 6.7m (33.3%).

Elliot's kiss with Sheila during yesterday's screening of Hollyoaks was seen by 1.5m (7.8%) in its usual 6.30pm timeslot on Channel 4, with a further 65k (0.3%) tuning in on timeshift. E4's first look managed 404k (2.2%).

BBC One's daily dose of Doctors - titled 'A Manny About The House' - grabbed 1.44m (22.4%) between 1.45pm and 2.15pm.

Five's edition of Neighbours, which saw Declan try to get a confession from Johnno, took 1.44m (10.4%) at 5.30pm. Fiver's 7pm repeat then added 195k (1%).

Home and Away interested 1.07m (6.2%) at 6pm, while Fiver's screening of the next episode was watched by 626k (3.5%).
