
Coronation Street led the Friday evening soaps ratings yesterday evening, overnight figures show.
The Manchester soap's final two episodes of the week, which saw Tony call Roy's bluff and Joe propose to Gail, had 8.48m (38.6%) and 8.96m (38%) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
ITV2's repeats in the hour from 12.50am added 134k (3.4%) and 121k (4.5%).
EastEnders' instalment, meanwhile, which saw Peggy kiss Archie, drew 8.71m (38.5%) at 8pm. BBC Three's 10pm repeat was the most-watched multichannel programme of the day, adding 655k (3.5%).
ITV's offering of Emmerdale at 7pm put in 6.72m (32.6%).

Five's Australian soap hour from 5.30pm saw Neighbours deliver 1.49m (9.3%), while Home and Away managed 1.15m (6.2%).
Fiver's first look at Home and Away interested 548k (2.9%), before
Neighbours' repeat added 134k (0.7%) at 7pm.
Channel 4's outing of Hollyoaks brought in 1.38m (6.8%) at 6.30pm and E4's first look had 401k (2.1%) half an hour later.
