The Walford soap's episode, which saw Bianca and Sam scrap in The Vic, pulled in 8.62m (38.3%) at 7.30pm. BBC Three's 10pm repeat added a further 601k (3.3%).
Emmerdale's outing, during which Sally contemplated smothering Laurel, drew 7.14m (33.4%) at its usual time of 7pm.
BBC One's screening of Doctors, titled 'Joan of Park', managed 1.82m (26%) at 1.45pm.

Five's Neighbours averaged 1.54m (9.4%) at 5.30pm, before Home and Away took 1m (5.2%) at 6pm.
Fiver's first look at Home and Away interested 523k (2.7%) at 6.30pm, while a further 189k (0.9%) tuned in for Neighbours' repeat at 7pm.
