Neighbours producers are attempting to lure back two former high-profile stars for the show's 20th anniversary, Sydney Confidential reports today.
Ten, the network which broadcasts the soap down under, is said to be "in negotiations" with Kimberley Davies and Nicola Charles about rejoining the cast later this year.
Davies, who played Annalise Hartman between 1993 and 1996, went on to pursue a career in Hollywood and enjoyed limited success with guest roles in Friends, Ally McBeal, Spin City and Profiler.
Brit actress Charles starred as Sarah Beaumont from 1996 to 1999. Since leaving the show she has appeared in the films Goodbye Charlie Bright and Muggers.
A spokeswoman for the show commented: "It's a massive year for Neighbours, so at this stage anything's possible."
