Young, who plays Warren Baldwin in the show, has upset the programme's bosses on a number of occasions with his partying lifestyle. The announcement of the 18-year-old's departure comes only eight months after he joined the soap last year.
Ex-Boyzone member Keith Duffy is also saying goodbye to the soap, though he claims that this is a "mutual decision" between himself and the show's producers.
