Chesney Brown is to be left home alone in an upcoming Coronation Street storyline, according to The Sun today.
The soap favourite is abandoned as Les and Cilla enjoy themselves during a holiday in Spain. He is taken in by Roy and Hayley Cropper, who are shocked by the actions of their neighbours.
An insider told the newspaper, "Les and Cilla stay on in Spain to get jobs. They plan to send for Chesney later."
The storyline airs next month.
