American Idol judge Randy Jackson has filmed a cameo appearance in US soap opera General Hospital.
In the episode, to be shown in the UK on ABC1 this Wednesday, Jackson forms part of a judging panel auditioning talent for a new girl band.
Also judging is a former Sunset Beach star, Clive Robertson, who plays a "Simon Cowell type character."
