'Oaks 'flashforward' ep averages 1.9m
Hollyoaks' 'flashforward' episode was seen by an average of 1.9m yesterday evening, according to overnight figures.

The special episode, in which Clavin was shot dead on his wedding day, drew 1.93m (9%) at 6.30pm. Half an hour earlier, Channel 4's normal episode had 1.53m (7.8%).

E4's two instalments logged 522k (2.5%) and 396k (1.8%) from 7pm.

Meanwhile, EastEnders was the most-watched soap of the day, pulling in 9.75m (38.8%) from 8pm. The latest screening, in which Stacey collapsed, peaked at 10.2m (39.9%) between 8.20pm and 8.25pm.

BBC Three's 10pm repeat was the most-watched multichannel programme of the day, attracting a further 823k (3.9%).

Coronation Street's first two episodes of Christmas week, which saw Sophie split with Ben and Tina kiss Nick, put in 8.95m (38.1%) and 9.21m (36.3%) respectively.

ITV2's repeats from 11.15pm added 258k (2.4%) and 266k (3.5%).

Emmerdale's 7pm offering averaged 7.03m (31.5%).
