Called Triangle, the show follows a young doctor who moves to the Caribbean after his wife disappears during their honeymoon there.
Du Toit, better known as Izzy in the Chester-based soap, will play the part of a bartender. DB Woodside, formerly of 24, is also on the cast as a police officer who helps in the search.
Triangle is thusfar just a pilot order for the UPN network; should it impress, it could be picked up for a full season later this year.
