Grantham slams 'pampered' 'Enders cast

EastEnders actor Leslie Grantham has admitted that his actions which led to his departure from the soap were "very stupid".

Grantham, who played Dirty Den, was killed off after a newspaper report last year featured images of the actor participating in a sex act over the internet.

Appearing on the Late Late Show, he commented, "Yeah, I did something very stupid and I've suffered a bit because of it and that's something I've got to deal with, but we're getting there."

However, Grantham has slammed his EastEnders co-stars, accusing them of having an easy job.

He explained, "They go to work, they're pampered, they're made up, they're given clothes. All you have to do as an actor is learn your lines, hit the mark and don't fall over the furniture.

"The trouble is actors are the worst people in the world."
