Corrie's boating death logs 10.9m
Joe McIntyre's boating accident during last night's Coronation Street was seen by an average of 10.9m yesterday evening, according to early figures.

The Manchester serial's double bill - which saw Joe explain to Gail how he planned to escape his own death, before being knocked overboard - logged 10.58m (42.6%) and 10.9m (40.7%).

ITV2's repeats from 12.55am added 95k (3.5%) and 129k (6.1%) respectively.

EastEnders' screening, during which Bradley admitted the truth about Stacey, Archie and the baby to Max and Jack, delivered 10.39m (39.1%) at 8pm. BBC Three's 10pm repeat added 941k (4.6%).

ITV1's Emmerdale offering put in 8.03m (34.7%) at 6.30pm.

Doctors' instalment, titled 'The Long and Short of It' took 2.15m (25.8%) in its usual timeslot of 1.45pm.

Five's Neighbours drew 1.49m (8.6%) at 5.30pm, before Home and Away's episode had 1.11m (5.4%) half an hour later.

Home and Away's first look managed 699k (3.1%), before Neighbours' 7pm repeat added 242k (1%).

Cheryl's revelation to Carmel that she kissed Calvin during last night's Hollyoaks was watched by 1.46m (6.6%). E4's first look logged 553k (2.4%) and its timeshift repeat on E4+1 added 113k (0.4%).
