Corrie's Tracy extends contract

Tracy Barlow will be causing trouble on the cobbles of Coronation Street for at least one year more.

Actress Kate Ford had originally planned to leave the soap this November but has now been tempted to stick around until well into 2006.

"I won't be going until 2006," she told The Sun today. "There are a lot of things to play."

Following the death of her dad Ray Langton, Tracy will go on to dump her new lover Nathan Harding then tempt back old flame Steve McDonald.
