Soaps Ratings Roundup: March 29

Coronation Street topped the soap ratings yesterday evening, according to overnight data.

The Manchester serial's double bill - which saw Jason discover Tina's kiss with Nick, before confronting him in The Rovers - pulled in 9.64m (34.1%) and 9.78m (38.6%) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm respectively.

ITV2's repeats in the hour from 12.55am added 114k (3.7%) and 121k (5.6%) respectively.

Billie's attempt to steal cash from The Vic with a plastic gun during last night's EastEnders, meanwhile, was witnessed by 9.35m (36.6%) from 8pm, before BBC Three's 10pm repeat added a further 810k (3.8%).

Emmerdale's offering at 7pm logged 7.47m (34.1%).

BBC One's screening of Doctors, yesterday titled 'Save The Children', drew 1.9m (23.3%).

Five's Australian hour began with 1.41m (8.6%) tuning in for Neighbours, before 1.08m (5.6%) caught Home and Away half an hour later.

Fiver's first look at Home and Away managed 508k (2.5%), while Neighbours' 7pm repeat added 151k (0.7%).

Hollyoaks' latest instalment at 6.30pm on Channel 4 - which saw Shasha reveal all about her attack to Calvin - put in 1.18m (5.8%) at 6.30pm. E4's first look at this evening's episode had 393k (1.8%) at 7pm and 120k (0.5%) on timeshift.
