McFadden to take another 'Enders break

Steve McFadden will leave EastEnders for a two-month break shortly after returning in the autumn, The Mirror claims today.

The actor, who plays Phil Mitchell, has agreed to resume his panto role of Captain Hook. Steve will perform at the Manchester Opera House, but now requires more time away from the soap.

McFadden is being paid £150,000 for the Peter Pan production, the newspaper claims.
