EastEnders have quashed rumours that Michelle Collins will be making a return to the BBC soap.
A tabloid newspaper today reported that producers are working on a dramatic storyline which would see Michelle's EastEnd counterpart - Cindy Beale - return from the dead.
A spokesperson for EastEnders told DS: "There is absolutely no truth in this story."
Other 'comeback' reports, this week, have included Mike Reid and Danniella Westbrook.
The only confirmed cast members who will be returning to the Sqaure are Barbara Windsor, Steve McFadden and the most recent addition, Ross Kemp; all of whom will come together to see the Mitchell family reunited on screen for the first time in six years.
"No more old faces are set to return," the spokesperson added, "only Barbara, Steve, Ross and possibly Mike will be making a comeback."
