Blanche's funeral seen by 9.2m

Coronation Street's send-off to Blanche was seen by around 9.2m yesterday evening, according to overnight data.

The Manchester soap's double bill - which saw friends and relatives pay their final respects to Blanche, before Tracy came to blows with Becky - pulled in 9.09m (32.1%) and 9.18m (38%) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.

ITV2's repeats at 12.25am and 1.25am added 72k (1.9%) and 103k (5.2%) respectively.

ITV's 30-minute special Goodbye Blanche drew 4.49m (19.2%) between the two screenings of Corrie, before a further 105k (4.2%) caught the repeat on ITV2 at 12.55am.

EastEnders' screening, which saw Ronnie begin to panic about the insurance claim, drew 8.13m (34.7%). BBC Three's 10pm repeat added 840k (4%).

Emmerdale's first episode of the week averaged 6.67m (32.1%)

Five's Australian hour began at 5.30pm with 1.41m (10%) tuning in for Neighbours, while 974k (5.4%) caught Home and Away half an hour later.

Fiver's first look at this evening's ep took 439k (2.2%) at 6.30pm, before Neighbours' 7pm repeat added 159k (0.8%).

BBC One's double bill of Doctors from 1.45pm - due to Friday's election coverage - interested 1.58m (22.5%) and 1.22 (18.8%) for its two episodes, titled 'Power Of Speech' and 'Lady Luck'.

Hollyoaks' showing at 6.30pm on Channel 4 put in 1.12m (5.7%) from 6.30pm. E4's first look had 365k (1.8%) half an hour later and 101k (0.4%) on timeshift.
