Desperate Housewives will air in communist China from next month, according to reports.
The racy US show has been bought by the state-run China Central Television's CCTV-8, where it will go out as part of the nightly entertainment block 'Everyday Jiayi'.
It is unclear whether any scenes or dialogue will be cut from the series to accomodate its conservative audience.
