Desperate Housewives' Eva Longoria was injured during filming of the hit ABC show on Wednesday.
A spokesperson for the show said that Longoria was taken to hospital after being "bumped on the head" by a falling pole while filming took place off the main Wisteria Lane set.
The star was treated at a local hospital and released shortly thereafter; the spokesperson added that Longoria, who plays Gabrielle Solis, "is expected to return to work on schedule."
