The Walford soap's second and final instalment of the week, during which Lucas came clean with Denise about murdering Owen, drew 7.9m (40.3%) at 7.30pm. BBC Three's 10pm repeat added a further 927k (4.7%).
Coronation Street's standalone episode, meanwhile, averaged 6.7m (30.6%) at 8.30pm. ITV HD's simulcast added 155k (0.7%).
ITV's double bill of Emmerdale, which saw Nathan take money from the family safe and Natasha come face to face with her tormentor, put in 5.94m (33.4%) and 6.19m (30%) at 7pm and 8pm respectively.

Fiver's first look at tonight's Home and Away was seen by 450k (2.6%).
Hollyoaks' offering had 1.07m (6.2%) at its usual time of 6.30pm, while E4's first look took 319k (1.8%).
