Emmerdale's midweek outing delivered 6.52m (34.4%) to ITV1, according to early overnight data.

Hollyoaks slumped to 924k (5.2%), a decline of nearly 200k on yesterday's audience. E4's first look managed 397k (2.1%).

Elsewhere yesterday, Home and Away - which saw Leah and Elijah end their relationship - had 961k (6%), while Fiver's first look grabbed 471k (2.7%).

Meanwhile, Ringo's attempts to reunite with Donna in Neighbours was seen by 1.19m (9.3%). Earlier in the day, Doctors logged 1.36m (18.6%) for 'Small Town Hero'.
