Coronation Street was back to its winning ways on Monday, according to overnight data.

Colin Fishwick's burial was seen by 8.26m (40.2%) and 8.76m (38.6%) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

EastEnders, which saw Pat and Peggy sabotage Roxy's sale of The Vic, put in a typically strong 8.5m (37.7%), while a further 862k (4.1%) caught the BBC Three repeat.

Emmerdale took 6.87m (36.4%) for an episode which centred around Carl and Eve's growing affection.

Latest Doctors instalment 'Finding The Words' averaged 1.55m (20.7%) for BBC One. Elsewhere, Neighbours had 1.31m (10.1%) for Five.

Des's proposal to Jacqui in Hollyoaks appealed to 1.2m (6.8%), before 478k (2.5%) watched E4's first look.
