Ex 'Enders star lands Corrie role
Former EastEnders star Ian Reddington has joined the cast of Coronation Street as a new love interest for Liz McDonald.

The actor, 47, played market inspector Richard Cole, better known as 'Tricky Dicky', between 1992 and 1994.

Now he is returning to the soap world as Vernon Tomlin, a wide-boy entertainer who falls for Liz.

Reddington has initially been signed for a three-month stint.
