Desperate Housewives actor Page Kennedy has been dropped over improper conduct, it was revealed yesterday.

Kennedy, who played fugitive Caleb in the ABC drama, was reportedly sacked on Friday following a "thorough investigation by the studio" into allegations against him, publicist Janet Daily told press.

Although details of the allegations have not been specified, it is understood that no other cast members were involved in the conduct in question.

The actor's character, who may have been responsible for the murder of a teen in Chicago, was barely seen, being held captive in Betty Applewhite's (Alfre Woodard) basement.

Kennedy's final episode will be aired this Sunday. The studio are looking to recast the mysterious Caleb, according to The Associated Press.
