EastEnders attracted 7.85m (37.2%) to BBC One on Friday evening, according to overnight data.

Jane's vow of revenge over Lucy's abortion was seen by 923k (4.8%) on BBC Three, as the Albert Square soap topped the soap ratings table.

Coronation Street picked up a lower-than-usual 7.34m (37.3%) for its 7.30pm episode, then 7.71m (35%) returned at 8.30pm.

Elsewhere last night, Emmerdale had 5.95m (33.7%), 928k (5.5%) watched Hollyoaks, 1.1m (8.6%) caught Neighbours and Doctors averaged 1.59m (22.1%).
