Bank Holiday Corrie draws 5.6m

Coronation Street could only manage 5.6m (26.4%) for its Bank Holiday Sunday outing, according to overnight data.

Claire and Ashley's visit from social services attracted 5.41m (25.5%) to ITV1 and 192k to the network's HD channel.

Elsewhere yesterday, the EastEnders Omnibus - which included Jane's discovery of Lucy's abortion - brought in 1.4m (11.8%) between 3.15pm and 5pm.

Coronation Street Omnibus had 473k (6.2%) for ITV1 from 9.30am, while Hollyoaks Omnibus took 353k (4.6%) from the same time.
