Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson is desperate to land a cameo part on Aussie soap Neighbours.
The singer, who has just concluded a tour of Australia, was inspired by the Pet Shop Boys' appearance in the show in 1995.
"I remember watching The Pet Shop Boys in a cameo part and that was hilarious," he said. "They asked for directions to the recording studio."
