Joe Macer's stroppy daughter Megan will arrive in Walford later this month determined to throw a spanner in the works of his wedding to Pauline Fowler.
The character will be played by Niky Wardley, better known as schoolgirl Lauren's bolshy sidekick in the Catherine Tate Show.
Megan shows up a day before the wedding and immediately starts prying into Pauline's family history, playing off people left, right and centre and making the whole occasion more eventful than they expected.
She also comes bearing a secret about Joe that his bride-to-be doesn't know.
