Sheree Murphy, who played Emmerdale's Tricia Stokes before leaving the show in 2004, has revealed she would love to be in EastEnders.
The actress praised the soap and hinted she would like a part in it. "I love soaps and loved working on Emmerdale. And I am a big fan of EastEnders," she explained. "I’ve probably got a good chance of getting into EastEnders what with my London accent."
"I’d love to be a brassy broad that comes in and stirs things up – they’re always the best characters," she continued. "An extra member of the Slater clan would be fun."
Speaking at Mr Kipling’s Good Gossip party, Murphy added that she is enjoying spending time at home.
