Lynne Perrie's husband has slammed Coronation Street bosses for not contacting him after her death.
When Lynne – who played Ivy Tilsley – died nine days ago partner Derrick called the show's producers. Now the grieving 76-year-old is angered by their lack of response.
"Coronation Street were the first people I called. They never returned it," he told The People. Nor, he says, did he receive a card or letter.
"Lynne worked on the show for 23 years. She gave a huge part of her life to them," continued Derrick. "People will remember her as one of the Street's greatest ever characters.
"But no one from the show got in in touch. I thought one or two of them might. She was friendly with a lot of people. But there was nothing," he added. "You couldn't print what I think about that."
