Show bosses are reportedly set to cut back on their wage bills, with Granada suffering from falling advertising income.
It seems that each cast member would lose £26,000 from their current salaries from next year.
One source told The News of the World: "There's a lot of discontent. They're on high wages but they work very, very hard to bring out five episodes a week."
The higher earners in the cast reportedly bring in around £260,000, with younger stars on around £90,000.
This is the second time this year that actors' salaries have been disputed.
