Julie Walters has admitted that she would like to make an appearance in Coronation Street.
The 57-year-old Calendar Girls actress revealed that she wants to star as a new love interest for shopkeeper Dev Alahan.
"Corrie was the very first thing I ever watched, from the age of 11. That’s why it is my favourite," Julie told The Sun. "I’m very tempted. I wonder if they would ask me. I'd love to be behind the bar at The Rovers.
"And then perhaps a little affair with somebody. I would not say no to Dev - in a little bit of a tryst."
