Rickitt "really pleased" to be back

Adam Rickitt is "really pleased" to be making a return to Coronation Street later this month, he said in the latest edition of About Soap magazine.
"I'm really pleased to be back in Corrie," he said. "I've had the idea put to me a couple of times before but I couldn't do it because of other commitments. Then when I came back from the States recently, I had a meeting with one of the shows producers, and they suggested returning for a four week stint.
"I jumped at the chance. Corrie is the best soap on television, plus I get to work with some fantastic people who I haven't had a chance to see for a while. It wasn't a difficult decision to make in the end."
Rickitt makes his on-screen return in the July 21 episode.
