Lipman rules out Street return

Maureen Lipman has ruled out a full-time return to Coronation Street.
The actress, who played snooty landlady Lillian Spencer in a brief stint last month, doesn't want a more permanent role in the soap because it would involve moving to Manchester, where she met her husband Jack Rosenthal.
"I've been there, done that, because I've already lived in Manchester and came away with him - I wouldn't want to make that mistake again," she told the Daily Express.
"It would be brilliant if the script-writers could come up with something where Lillian just turns up every few weeks, delivers a cutting insult, and then disappears again - but I don't think that will happen."
