'Emmerdale' star plans Tarzan marathon

Emmerdale actor Tony Audenshaw is planning to run a marathon dressed as Tarzan.

The soap star, who plays Bob Hope, is undertaking the 26.2 mile run around Manchester in September for Leukaemia Research.

His route will be decided by the public, who can request that he visits their home during the race.

Speaking about the trek, Audenshaw said: "How do you feel about a half naked Emmerdale actor calling at your café for a cuppa or bobbing round to your bungalow on your birthday?

"We are prepared to do pretty much anything for ten minutes in exchange for you supporting the Leukaemia Research Fund."
