'Emmerdale' actresses don't compete over looks
Verity Rushworth has insisted that there is no rivalry between Emmerdale's female cast members.

The actress, who plays Donna Windsor-Dingle on the ITV1 soap, claimed that she never worries over who looks most glamorous on the show's set.

"I like to look a certain way - fit and healthy. But there's no competition between the girls," Rushworth explained. "We're all so different anyway - we compliment each other. They're all gorgeous, so it would be silly to get jealous."

Rushworth admitted that she pays more attention to style and fashion when she is away from the set of the soap - as she likes to distinguish herself from her "minging" character.

She revealed: "I love looking different. At work I've usually got my hair scraped back, with no make-up on, and I look minging, so it's nice to dress up."

Verity is expected to take a break from Emmerdale in the near future after more than ten years of playing Donna.
