POTD: Brenda pounces on Viv in 'Emmerdale'

After being released from prison, Viv Hope makes her return to the village during tonight's episode of Emmerdale, only to be attacked in her own shop.
Rolling up in a taxi, she tries to pay the driver with a crisp £50 note but offers to go inside to the Post Office for some smaller change. However, Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) has no idea who Viv is and believes her to be a thief. It's only when Paddy walks in that Brenda realises that she's made a terrible mistake.
Speaking of Viv's return, Payne said: "Her expectations really aren’t fulfilled - she's a bit bewildered and taken aback by all the events that seem to have had a domino effect. It really makes her feel very insecure and sad."
How will Bob (Tony Audenshaw) react to the news that his estranged wife has returned? And will he be able to keep his one-night stand with Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) under wraps?
Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm on ITV1.
